Budding Jewellery Designer in Bangalore >> Amrita Ghosh
Amrita Ghosh is an ex-colleague of mine . She is also a tea enthusiast like me. An avid reader and world traveller, she is one of those lucky few who has travelled to some of the most exotic locales around the world. Her latest escapade, albeit an official one, was in South Africa. She recently got back with keepsake Vuvuzelas and a memory fresh and agog with live FIFA matches.
But this says little or nothing about her. There is so much more behind this unassuming Amrita, that on discovering, bit by bit, via the virtual world, sitting miles away from her, I had a desperate need to tell her, how spectacularly talented she is. And that I wish, I had taken more time to know her better.
Amrita is a fabulous writer. I’m quite a fan of the sudden Haikus she comes up with and the way she narrates little memories from the past. It makes for a good Sunday afternoon read with a cuppa. You can read Amrita’s musings at The Amrita Connection.
There’s another facet to her. The facet that I want to introduce you to- it’s that of a budding jewellery designer. And I’m as excited as her to be showcasing her hand-crafted work on Silveratti.
Sharing some of my favourite picks from the huge set of pictures she sent me from her portfolio.

Like all new budding designers, she needs encouragement too. If you liked her stuff, do drop in a line and wish her luck.
As for me, I wish her the very best in every endeavour that she pursues . You, go, girl!

like I said, any time, lady! Wishing you luck, now and always.
I have seen some of Amrita’s work. She has an eye for detail.
Her work amalgamates stones, colours and textures in a way that pleases the senses and makes the wearer stand out.
